Spun Gold & Silver Too is fully owned and operated by Karen Q. Douglass. Karen has lived in south jersey for over 10 years, serving the community as a pastor's wife at Highland Community Church. As a young child, Karen's artistic talents shined above and beyond her peers. And while she was working as a licensed practical nurse, Karen continued to use arts & crafts projects as a creative outlet. As a full-time mother of 2, Lori and Jon, Karen spent time fine-tuning her skills. And finally, after her kids had "left the nest", Karen started her own home-based business, formerly known as Creations Olde & New, mostly creating Christmas angels from vintage or unique fabrics.

Today, Karen focuses her efforts on designing custom jewerly from vintage or heirloom pieces. However, her ability to transform raw materials into true works of art does not stop at jewelry. Bring in your grandmother's precious wedding dress and she will sew together a beautiful angel to cherish forever. Or bring her a broken piece of your favorite china, and she will transform it into a decorative piece.

In her free time (if she has any) Karen loves to scuba dive, travel, and serve the Lord through participating in various missions trips.
